Colossal Biosciences

Channel Description

Official channel of Colossal Biosciences, the de-extinction company ///////////////////////////////// Follow along as the world's first de-extinction company uses genetic technology to bring back extinct keystone species like the woolly mammoth, dodo, and Tasmanian tiger (thylacine). Through this channel, you'll learn about the process behind de-extinction, why de-extinction is critical to managing the biodiversity crisis, and how genetic technology is being used as a species preservation strategy for conservation organizations around the world. Scientists predict that we could lose 50% of all species on earth by 2050. We're working to prevent that from happening. By restoring critical keystone species that have gone missing from their ecosystems, we can prevent the cascading effects of mass extinction. Subscribe for educational videos, see into our labs, hear from our world-leading scientists, and learn about the cutting-edge genetic science that's revolutionizing conservation.
