This policy explains what TubeStats collects when you visit the site, create an account or contact us, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. In short: no ads, no third-party trackers, and only the data each feature needs.
TubeStats (tubestats.io) publishes statistics, rankings and tools about public YouTube channels and videos. TubeStats is responsible for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at any time through our contact page.
TubeStats is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by YouTube or Google.
TubeStats uses YouTube API Services to read public data about channels and videos (titles, descriptions, thumbnails, subscriber, view, like and comment counts). By using TubeStats you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
TubeStats never asks for access to your YouTube account and never reads private YouTube data. Signing in with Google only shares your basic profile (see below). You can review or remove the access you granted at any time in your Google account's third-party connections.
Most of what TubeStats shows is public information about YouTube channels and videos, collected through the YouTube API and refreshed regularly. We also compute statistics from it (growth, rankings, estimated earnings) and write short summaries of channels with AI services, using only that public data.
Business contact emails. Some creators publish a business email in their channel or video descriptions. TubeStats detects these public addresses and shows them on the channel's About page and in the YouTube Influencers Finder, hidden until a visitor chooses to reveal them, and limited for visitors without an account. We never show emails that are not already public on YouTube.
If you run a channel and want a contact email or any other detail removed or corrected, send us a request through the contact page from an address we can verify, and we will act on it.
When you browse. Like any website, our servers receive your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. We use the IP address to protect the site (rate limits and abuse prevention) and Cloudflare tells us your approximate country, which we use to highlight your country in lists. We do not use any advertising or third-party analytics trackers.
When you create an account. TubeStats accounts use Google or Discord sign-in only. We receive and store the email address (verified by the provider), name and profile picture from that provider, plus the provider's account identifier. We never receive your password. While signed in we also keep:
Keyword alerts without an account. Your email address, the keywords and the threshold you choose. We email you a confirmation link before sending anything.
Contact form. Your name, email address, subject, message and IP address. We email you a confirmation link; unconfirmed messages are deleted after 7 days. Confirmed messages are delivered to our inbox and kept so we can answer and follow up. Our replies are sent to the address you gave us.
Viewing contact emails without an account. To apply the free allowance, we count the channels you have viewed using a random identifier in a cookie and a one-way hash of your IP network. These counts are deleted after 30 days.
We do not sell your personal data, share it for advertising, or use it to build advertising profiles. Where the GDPR applies, we rely on performing the service you asked for (accounts, alerts, contact), on our legitimate interest in running and protecting the site (security logs, rate limits), and on your consent where we ask for it.
We use a small number of providers, each only for what it does for TubeStats:
Some providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict how we use it. You can:
We will answer within the time the law requires (one month under the GDPR). You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
TubeStats is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Sign-in is handled by Google or Discord, so we never store passwords for visitors. Access to our systems is restricted, and secrets such as confirmation tokens are stored only as one-way hashes. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you where the law requires it.
We may update this policy as TubeStats changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will make it clear on the site or, for account holders, by email.
